The Hugh Gallen Career and Technical Center in Littleton, NH is excited to announce the launch of its innovative Aviation and Aerospace program, opening new doors for students interested in careers in this high-demand field. Available to students from Littleton and surrounding schools, the program features four specialized pathways: Pilot, UAS (Drones), Engineering, and Aviation Maintenance. Each pathway is designed to provide students with hands-on learning and the opportunity to earn industry-recognized credentials, setting them up for success in the growing aerospace sector.
The curriculum will combine classroom instruction with state-of-the-art technology, including flight simulators, 3D design software, 3D printers, and coding applications. Students will also benefit from offsite visits and collaborations with industry professionals, gaining real-world experience in aerospace engineering and aviation maintenance. Additionally, students in grades 7-10 will have access to introductory courses that lay a strong foundation for continued learning in the upper grades.
With multi-function spaces equipped for everything from flight simulation to mechanical system training, the Hugh Gallen CTC’s new program aims to address the workforce shortage in aviation by empowering students with the skills and certifications needed for immediate employment in this dynamic industry.
